Job Title: Project Support Engineer

Job Description:
As a Project Support Engineer you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality bespoke projects for customers. Training, both internally and externally can be provided to support the requirements of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with an understanding of tolerances.
- Working with 3D Models (Solidworks Software or similar).
- Create BOMs (Bill of Materials), stock codes and routings within ERP software.
- Supportsolving activities (5 Whys, Fishbone, Root Cause).
- Support in creating DFMEA, FMEA and Control Plans.
Skills & Experience:
- Qualifications in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
- Proficient in the use of 3D CAD software.
- Great communication skills, both verbally and through e-mail, Microsoft Teams, etc. Able to interface with Customer & Supplier representatives.
- An understanding of MRP / ERP systems is beneficial.
- Previous experience in an engineer role is preferred.
- Experience of the Rail or Automotive industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC programming, Punch Press, Press Brake operations is an advantage.
