Reed Accountancy are seeking an Accounts Senior with a strong practice background to join our well-respected client’s team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial and accounting support to a diverse portfolio of clients. This role is integral to the firm, requiring a blend of technical expertise and client-facing skills.

Day to day of the role:

  • Preparation and review of financial statements for FRS102(1A) and FRS105 owner-managed companies.
  • Completion and review of personal and corporate tax returns, as well as VAT returns.
  • Direct liaison with clients to deliver timely financial information and advice.
  • Mentorship and support of junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Keeping abreast of accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Management of client relationships to maintain and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Provision of business advisory services to support client growth and success.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hold a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or QBE equivalent).
  • Possess significant practice experience.
  • Proficient with the CCH suite of software for accounts, tax, and practice management.
  • Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Take a proactive approach, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate work.
