Skilled Handyman - Portable Accommodation Units
Location: Based near Eastleigh with travel to various sites
Salary: 36,000 per annum (basic) + Overtime Available
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Benefits: Fully expensed company vehicle
About the Role:
We are seeking a Skilled Handyman to join our clients team, specialising in the setup, refurbishment, and maintenance of portable accommodation units for construction works. This is a hands-on role where you will work both in a workshop environment and occasionally travel to various sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- General refurbishment, fit-out, and maintenance of portable accommodation units to current standards and regulations.
- Preparing units for painting, including sanding and surface preparation.
- Fitting doors, partitions, floors, sinks, taps, and worktops.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within project deadlines.
- Occasionally traveling to sites for on-location setup and maintenance.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in general handyman or maintenance roles, ideally in portable accommodation or similar environments.
- Skilled in basic carpentry, plumbing, and general refurbishment tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving license (essential).
