You’ll play a critical role in managing, maintaining, and evolving a secure, high-performing IT infrastructure. From troubleshooting and optimising networks to leading key technical projects, your expertise will help shape the future of IT operations.

What you’ll do:
- Manage, monitor, and maintain a secure and scalable IT infrastructure.
- Oversee Windows Server, Office 365, Azure, VMware, NetApp storage, Cisco networking, and AVD environments.
- Act as a final escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring root cause analysis and resolution.
- Implement best practices in cybersecurity, ensuring compliance and system resilience.
- Lead and support IT infrastructure projects, from upgrades to new implementations.
- Maintain system documentation, configurations, and network mappings.
- Work closely with service providers and internal teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Adhere to ITIL-based change management processes, ensuring all changes are logged and assessed.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience: 3rd line technical support experience in an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
- Certifications: Cisco, VMware, or Microsoft certifications are a bonus.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Office 365, Azure, VMware, networking, and enterprise storage.
- Security-Focused: Awareness of cybersecurity best practices and IT security policies.
- Problem Solver: Logical mindset with the ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues efficiently.
- Collaborator: Strong communication skills to work effectively across teams and departments.
- Flexible & Proactive: Willing to work flexibly, including occasional early starts and out-of-hours work as required.
- Full Driving Licence: Ability to travel to other sites when needed.
