Junior Systems Analyst

Duration - 4 months

Location - Eastleigh hybrid - 3 days per week on site

Rate - up to £200 per day overall assignment rate to umbrella.

JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to support the management of Vendor Communications systems during a colleague's paternity leave.

The role is within the Sourcing Centre of Excellence & Systems (reporting to Sourcing Development & Category Sourcing Director)

ACCOUNTABILITIES - ACTIVITIES AND KEY DELIVERABLE:

Generally supporting the Sourcing Centre of Excellence & Systems Team in its delivery of technical services to its stakeholders.

This includes:

  • Responding to & resolving queries from users (vendor and colleagues)
  • Controlling access to applications
  • Management of excel spreadsheets

Process Competencies:

  • Capacity to relate to System User's perspective & analyse access issues remotely
  • Capable of resolving access issues within applications, within defined business rules
  • Strong analytical focus and methodical approach
  • Ability to download files, update trackers and create reports to supplied guidelines
  • Ability to collaborate with 3rd party and Technology teams to achieve issue resolution

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent personal time management and ability to effectively prioritise.
  • Recent experience in a fast-paced support and analytical role
  • Fluent presentation and communication skills to all levels (including written).
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Team player with flexible, diligent and professional approach to meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrates a calm, professional approach to problem solving. Resilient under pressure
  • High level of competence in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams
  • Eagerness to learn

Beneficial skills

  • Experience of using Microsoft Active Directory
  • Experience/ interest in web publishing or Content Management Systems

Office/Hybrid/home based:

  • 100% work from Office during first 4 weeks.
  • "Hybrid" working (which means that you are required to attend a minimum of 2 days in the office with the remainder working from home) is an option for the remainder of the attachment.
