Meraki Talent are delighted to be partnering with our international based client, with the appointment of 2 Senior Accountants that will be responsible for multiple German entity accounts.You will have fluent German language skills and experience of managing German entities.These are outstanding appointments that will have key 'end-to-end' finance exposure of the German entities, decision making capability and good stakeholder exposure across the business.The role

  • Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet and Group Consolidated Accounts
  • GL Journals, Accruals and Prepayments
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS and HGB
  • Coordinate and manage audit relationships (Internal & External)
  • Produce management reports for Management Board
  • Analyse liquid assets i.e. securities, money market instruments, and deposits
  • Quarterly tax calculations for Corporate Tax and Trade Tax.

About you

  • You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP (HGB))
  • Tax knowledge - corporate tax and VAT
  • Fluent German/Bilingual
