EB Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a growing Accountancy practice in the East of Scotland. As part of their current growth plans, this firm is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy team in their Edinburgh office.

As Accounts Assistant, you will work in a specialist team supporting a range of small to medium sized clients with the following:

  • Manging client accounts
  • Preparing financial statements for a range of clients
  • Managing tax requests, calculation and filing
  • Prepare management accounts
  • Liaising with clients and external financial institutions
  • Liaise with internal colleagues
  • Provide updates, advice and general client requests
  • Ad hoc duties by the team and firm

Skills and experience required:

  • Accounts experience is essential, ideally gained within an accountancy practice
  • Ability to manage clients financial accounts - statements, tax, annual accounts etc
  • Possess excellent communication skills, ability to build working relationships internally and with clients
  • Can work to own initiative and within a team environment
  • IT proficient
