About the Role:
Our client, a leading construction firm, is seeking an experiencedM&E Coordinatorto oversee mechanical and electrical works on their Edinburgh site. The successful candidate will manage M&E trade contractors, ensure compliance with regulations, and coordinate installation, commissioning, and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • M&E Coordination:Organise and oversee the installation of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with building regulations and quality standards.
  • Project Management:Lead the M&E aspects of the project from start to handover, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
  • Liaison & Compliance:Work closely with utility contractors, suppliers, and Building Control, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted.
  • Technical Support:Provide expert advice on M&E systems, work sequencing, and handover procedure.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in M&E coordination on construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of building regulations and compliance.
