This voluntary role provides financial oversight and strategic input to the organisation. With two long-standing board members stepping down, the school is looking for a Finance Director, CFO, or equivalent to support governance, financial strategy, and decision-making.

The role of Non-Executive Director (Governor - Finance) will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Provide strategic financial oversight, ensuring long-term sustainability
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Finance Director, offering constructive challenge
- Guide the school’s financial & strategic direction
- Ensure good governance & compliance as a Charity Trustee & Company Director
- Serve on the Finance Committee, shaping key financial decisions
You
As a Non-Executive Director (Governor - Finance) you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
- Board-level experience - essential for effective governance
- Finance Director, CFO, or equivalent background - with a commercial & strategic focus
- Understanding of charity or non-profit governance - direct charity accounting not required
- Strong communicator - collaborative, open to discussion, & willing to challenge
- Passionate about education - particularly girls’ education & independent schools
- Open-minded - to bring new perspectives
