Role: General Manager Cutting edge Bar / Restaurant operation

Salary: up to £50k + Excellent Bonuses + Benefits
We are recruiting an experienced General Manager to lead a stylish and cutting-edge impressive city centre Bar and Restaurant operation. This is a high-volume site, catering for a busy restaurant / food led day trade and a popular night time late night cocktail venue.
The successful candidate will join an established brand who have venues across the UK, with excellent support, company benefits and bonus packages.
The successful candidate will be from a high-volume operation and have senior management experience managing large teams. A focus on people, training and development is key. You will also be a calm and collected operator able to manage all aspects of a busy drinks led operation whilst managing a strong daytime food trade. A solid business / financial acumen is also essential.
The role:
- Leading and motivating a large team to deliver exceptional service and standards
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the Bar and Restaurant, ensuring smooth service at all times
- Driving business growth through marketing, promotions, and customer engagement
- Implementing and maintaining operational standards, including health and safety
- Maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, with a strong understanding of the atmosphere triangle and leading your team to go the extra mile for guests
- Managing financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
The candidate:
- Previous experience as a General Manager / Deputy General Manager in a high-volume Bar and Restaurant operation is essential.
- A natural people person, an excellent leader of teams and passion for guest service and standards
- Strong knowledge of financials, and cost control, P&L management
