IT Support EngineerEdinburgh On-site Working Required

Role Overview

We’re seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide essential technical support across the studio. Reporting to the IT Service Manager, you’ll handle front-line desktop support, assist with IT projects, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver first-line technical support for users via Helpdesk and Teams.
  • Manage and set up user accounts in Office 365, Perforce, and Atlassian tools.
  • Set up workspaces and configure high-end hardware for new team members.
  • Maintain the asset inventory, handling new hardware as it arrives.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and replace or upgrade components as needed.
  • Support IT equipment in meeting rooms to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Assist with IT project tasks and engineering needs as required.
Requirements
  • Proficient in PowerShell and Office 365 management.
  • Experience with G Suite/Office 365 migrations.
  • Basic networking knowledge and experience building high-performance PCs.
  • Strong command of Windows
  • Exposure to Linux and macOS is a plus
  • Excellent communication and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to research and resolve issues independently.
