Administration Assistant

Are you looking for a new role in an Administrative capacity? Does the prospect of moving into a newly created position, which you can make your own, interest you? Are you interested in joining an expanding Professional Services firm, which can provide you with the support needed to grow? If so, I have the ideal opportunity for you!

We are looking for an Administration Assistant to join us in our Edinburgh office. Your responsibilities will include, but won't be limited to the following:

  • Provide reception cover when required
  • Answering office phones when required
  • Client onboarding assistance including drafting engagement letters, professional clearance letters, etc
  • Scanning hard copy office files
  • Responsible for inbound office mail and client information, electronic filing, and onward distribution to relevant colleagues
  • Assist in planning, organising and delivering office wide events, whilst collaborating with the relevant firm committee representatives
  • Responsible for the Edinburgh audit team 3rd party bank and lawyer letter process.
  • Organising and maintaining clients hardcopy records inflow and outflow, including organising quick return of client records.
  • Become one of the Edinburgh office’s anti-money laundering representatives. Completion of AML forms prior to review by senior staff.
  • Assisting with new staff inductions.
  • Any other ad hoc assistance required.

About you

  • Office Administration experience is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
