Reed Business Support are supporting one of our Edinburgh based 3rd sector clients that are looking to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner for a 1 year Fixed Term Contract.

Role- HR Business Partner

Duration- Fixed Term 1 year initially

Salary- £50,000- £63,000 DOE

Location- Edinburgh

Hours- 35 per week with hybrid working

The HR Business Partner is responsible for business partnering, managing a team of HR Advisors and providing generalist HR expertise to senior leaders and management teams within their portfolio.

Duties included-

  • Lead, manage and develop a team of HR Advisors to provide a range of comprehensive generalist human resources services as the first point of contact for all HR related queries providing information and advice on terms and conditions of employment, HR policies, procedures and processes and employee relations services to managers, employees and workers.
  • Business partner senior leaders and mangers in their annual business and budget planning processes
  • Own the subsidiary relationship on behalf of HR, ensuring business knowledge and operational requirements are shared with the HR & L&D
  • Provide comprehensive resource planning and organisational design advice to senior leaders
  • Lead the governance and maintenance of the subsidiary salary structures
  • Support senior leaders and business managers to consult on organisational change and changes to pay, hours of work and terms and conditions of employment with Union and Staff Representatives and employees and workers as appropriate.
  • Lead HR policy, governance, procedure and guidance creation and reviews
  • Develop and maintain the HR processes and procedures ensuring effective use of organizational systems to support the continuous improvement of the HR services.
  • Establish and maintain effective networks of contacts, both internal and external, with relevant organisations and maintain an effective and up-to-date knowledge of HR employment legislation, best practice, technology and solutions.
