Pertemps are currently recruiting for industrial administrators for our public sector client to be based in the Edinburgh area supporting a busy fleet services department.Location - Edinburgh WestRate of pay - £14.93 per hourHours of Work - Monday to Thursday 07.30-15.45 & Friday 07.30-12.30Holidays - Up to 33 days per yearDuration - temporary ongoingThe successful candidate will be joining a team of experienced road services staff and be expected to work with various vehicles that are used by the client. Applicant will also be required to support the smooth running of the department through administrative tasksDuties to include:
  • Providing a reliable business support service through a variety of formats including telephone, face to face, email, and online
  • Maintaining of records
  • Data input
  • Using appropriate systems to process service requests or updates for wider services
  • Assist in the managing the driver licensing data base carrying out the appropriate level of licence checks in line with the policies, issuing and removal of permit to drive, communicating actions to line manager
  • Assist in the management of fuel stock levels and monitor usage across all depots, issuing fuel fobs vehicle and driver keys and providing relevant management information including vehicle and fuel usage reports
  • Maintain confidentiality in relation to all data handled and processed
  • Driving to various client locations within Edinburgh
Essential requirements:
  • Valid drivers licence
  • Maximum of 6 points on your licence
  • Forklift licence preferable
  • Strong administrative experience
