A well-established and respected organisation, with a rich history dating back to 1964, is seeking a dynamic Office Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) based in Newbridge, Edinburgh.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with people at all levels. A key focus of this role will be developing and nurturing relationships with suppliers, requiring confidence and excellent communication skills. You will be the first point of contact for many, so a friendly and professional demeanour is essential. You will also be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the office, ensuring efficient operations and providing support to various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the face and voice of the company, handling incoming enquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, confidently communicating with them and other stakeholders.
  • Manage a variety of administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping.
  • Support the team with various administrative duties, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.
  • Utilise your organisational skills to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.

  • A confident and professional manner, particularly when dealing with suppliers and other external contacts.
