Reed is delighted to be supporting a well-respected proprietor on an exciting 12-month fixed term contract based at their new office in Central Edinburgh. The organisation requires a skilled payroll assistant to join the business and support with the 4-weekly payroll collated via their weekly timesheet system.
To be successful in this role, you will have a friendly, can-do attitude and possess UK payroll experience. Full training will provided on their system however experience with accounting/payroll software is advantageous.
The organisation is offering a dynamic role which can help take you to the next level, working alongside a long-standing team in the heart of Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing 4 weekly payroll
- Administering company pension scheme
- Handling SMP, SSP and SPP claims
- Preparing journals
- Processing timesheet hours
- Starters & Leavers
- Processing contract and pay changes
- Administering statutory payments
Candidate Proficiencies
- UK Payroll Experience – Essential
- Strong experience with MS Office packages including Excel
- Ability to manage multiple workloads
- Strong attention to detail
