Search Recruitment are looking for a Payroll Specialist on a temporary basis in Edinburgh City Centre offering a competitive hourly pay rate with hybrid working. Edinburgh City Centre / Hybrid workingKey responsibilities include:* Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments.* Ensure compliance with payroll regulations etc. * Collaborate with local payroll providers to collect and validate payroll inputs, including salaries, benefits, allowances and deductions.* Review and validate payroll calculations, including statutory deductions, bonuses, and overtime.* Reconcile and validate payroll outputs.* Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues from employees across various countries.Key skills and experience you'll ideally have: * Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to changing payroll requirements.* Certification in payroll or related fields is advantageous.* Understanding of data protection and confidentiality.* Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, especially Excel.* Knowledge of payroll legislation, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.* Experience with local payroll providers and managing external vendor relationships.* Demonstrable experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.If you'd like to apply or find out more, please submit your CV at the earliest opportunity or get in touch at .
