An exciting opportunity is available for an Accountant to join a reputable multi-site firm of Chartered Accountants in Elland.
The firm offers excellent training and support, aiming to help you develop your career with diverse accounting experience.
Key responsibilities include preparing statutory year-end accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, and handling bookkeeping duties as needed.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in an accountancy firm and be studying AAT, ACA, or ACCA.
The salary for this position ranges from £25,000 to £30,000, with additional benefits like hybrid working and a bonus scheme.

Long-established, this firm prides itself on excellent training and support, helping you to progress your career and gain well-rounded experience as an Accountant. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Preparation of statutory year end accounts for a variety of clients.
Preparation of management accounts to be sent to clients.
Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
Bookkeeping duties when required.
Calculating corporate tax and personal tax liabilities.

To be applicable for this Accountant role, ideally you should:

Be studying AAT, ACA, or ACCA
Have minimum 2+ years’ experience working as an Accountant in an Accountancy firm.
Feel comfortable liaising with clients and working towards ownership of your own portfolio of clients.
