Criminal Solicitor Opportunity – Expanding Yorkshire Law Firm A large and growing law firm based in Yorkshire is currently seeking an additional Criminal Solicitor to join their expanding team. This role will be based across in their West Yorkshire office The Role: The successful candidate will work alongside more senior Criminal Fee Earners, handling a caseload that covers the full spectrum of criminal law matters. This position is ideal for a junior solicitor, preferably with 12+ months of criminal law experience, looking for development opportunities in a supportive and expanding environment. The role includes:
  • Preparation and representation of cases in the Magistrates Court and Crown Court.
  • Occasional attendance at PACE interviews.
  • Training on conducting hearings in the Magistrates Court will be provided, and the applicant should be keen to develop experience in this area.
  • The opportunity to gain exposure to commercial regulatory work, intellectual property, and sports law, with a view to managing these matters independently in the future.

  • A qualified NQ Solicitor with at least 12 months' experience in criminal law.
