Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary School in Ellesmere Port!

You’ll be joining an inclusive/modern/supportive school, focused on highlight two of their school values, such as diversity, equality, etc.

This is an exciting role for a new or experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!

 What You’ll Be Doing in the Role: 

  • Child supervision and care: Ensuring the safety and well-being of children, helping them with daily activities like eating, dressing, and using the restroom, and watching over them during playtime.

  •  Educating support: Assisting in the delivery of age-appropriate learning activities, including games, songs, and crafts, to promote early childhood development.

  • Emotional support: Helping children with emotional development, encouraging social interactions, and providing comfort when needed.

  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment: Keeping play areas, toys, and equipment clean and safe. Assisting with tidying up after activities.

Essential Qualifications:  

  •  Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting

  •  Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills

  • Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience

  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
