OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning experience for children, particularly those with special educational needs. This position requires a nurturing individual who is passionate about educating children and is skilled in communicating effectively with both students and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the lead teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of each child.
  • Provide support to children with special educational needs, including those working with autism, ensuring they receive appropriate guidance and encouragement.
  • Foster a positive learning environment by promoting inclusivity and understanding among all students.
  • Help supervise children during classroom activities, playtime, and transitions between activities.
  • Communicate effectively with children to encourage their participation and understanding of tasks.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary.

Experience
