About the Role:Enfield Council is seeking an Operational Support Officer to join their Children's Services team on a part-time basis. The role will be office-based in Enfield Town and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. There is flexibility in hours, with an initial 18 hours per week and the possibility of increasing up to 24 hours depending on workload.

As an Operational Support Officer, you will provide administrative support, including data entry and assisting social workers with day-to-day tasks. A significant focus of this role will be on quality minute-taking and other administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational and administrative support within the Children's Services department.
  • Assist social workers with daily activities and case management.
  • Take accurate and detailed minutes at meetings.
  • Carry out data entry and maintain accurate records.
  • Use Word, Excel, Liquid Logic, and MS Teams (experience in these systems would be advantageous).

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work with a strong "can-do" attitude.
  • IT literate, with experience using Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Liquid Logic and MS Teams is a bonus.
  • Local authority experience is desirable, but not essential.

Working Hours:The role is part-time, initially 18 hours per week, with the potential to increase to 24 hours. Working hours are from 09:00 to 12:30, Monday to Friday.
