Job Title: Housing Solutions Officer

Location: Enfield

Rate of Pay: £26 P/H (Umbrella)

Hours per Week: 35 Hours

Enfield Council are currently looking for an experienced Housing Solutions Officer to join their team on a contract basis to assist with households that are placed in temporary accommodation.

Job Duties:

  • Support households in temporary accommodation, addressing queries, complaints, housing advice, disrepair, and ASB, while helping them transition to private rented housing.
  • Manage tenancy and property-related issues, including repairs, investigating complaints, and ensuring temporary accommodation meets required standards.
  • Collaborate with partners to address tenancy issues and maintain effective communication with residents.
  • Utilise strong written, verbal, and IT skills to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring high-quality customer service and compliance with housing law and homelessness legislation.

The Candidate Will Have:

  • The ability to find creative solutions to local housing problems while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Experience in homelessness, housing management, or a strong understanding of housing law and homelessness legislation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, alongside excellent IT skills.
