The prime purpose of this role is to manage the day-to-day accounting functions associated within the Hospitality sector.

Description
- Managing the appropriate financial controls, procedures and processes
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements including management Profit & Loss Statements and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of annual budget, flash forecast, weekly trading report and trading updates
- Produce ad hoc reports as requested by senior management
- Produce complete, accurate and timely management accounts. Correct errors and omissions, and reconcile all key balance sheet control accounts for the contract
- Reconcile all payroll forecasts with actual payroll costs and review with the GM any variances
Profile
A successful Location Accountant should have:
- Part or studying CIMA/ACCA
- Proven experience in an accounting/finance role, MUST be within hospitality
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to travel and work on location as needed
