IT Project Manager | Infrastructure | Software

Based in Epsom, working from home 2/3 days a week.

£50,000 plus benefits

My client based in Epsom are looking to recruit an all round IT Project Manager, you will be involved in taking multiple projects from different stages, through to completion.

Purpose:

To support and drive the delivery of several key projects over the course of the coming year, most of which have a heavy IT focus.

Duties could include:

  • To develop, project manage and deliver several key projects some of which have already started but support the delivery of new ways of working.
  • To lead on preparing project briefs, project management plans, business cases, feasibility studies, objective, financial appraisal, project timelines, performance management arrangements and developing key success measures, as appropriate depending on the current stage of the project.
  • To contribute to a system of continuous review and improvement, learning from what we have done and sharing expertise with others.
  • To ensure that all stakeholders are kept fully informed about progress.
  • Take active responsibility for the control and monitoring of projects.
  • To produce regular project highlight reports.

Skills sought:

  • Evidence of successful project management and implementation of projects including evaluation.  Demonstrating familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Experience working across various IT projects that cover infartsructre, software, data etc.
  • Track record of achieving demonstrable results from involvement in developing and delivering key projects.
  • Significant financial awareness and evidence in managing significant budgets and producing robust financial appraisals.
  • Significant experience of key organisational projects, including working across organisational boundaries.
  • Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
