Field Sales Account Manager - Evesham - £55k - £60k + company car or car allowance + bonus and excellent benefits
Our client is a well-established power generation equipment and ancillary company based in Evesham, due to continued growth and expansion they are looking to recruit a Field Sales Account Manager
The Field Sales Account Manager will be responsible for growing & managing relationships with our clients’ key clients. This role is a remote or hybrid role, with the candidate being Southern England or Midlands-located, ideally within an hour’s commute of their offices in Evesham.
Duties Include:
- Capable of providing commercial and technical expertise to manage our existing large clients, generate new leads, develop new clients from End Users, Contractors, and Consultants.
- Develop a stream of high value opportunities and convert these to orders, assist in the bid submittal and the technical execution of high value and complex rental & sales projects.
- Assume full account responsibility of particularly high importance accounts, both new & existing.
- Responsibility for reviewing clients' detailed contractual and technical specification documents, and preparing detailed contractual proposals encompassing legal, commercial, mechanical, electrical, controls and civils design solutions.
- Attend and lead site meetings involving client’s senior engineers & commercial staff, at all stages of the sales process, from pre-award to completion.
Qualifications:
- Ideally HNC/HND or degree qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar relevant qualification.
- Demonstrable experience of direct capital equipment sales &/or rentals within the Power Industry, Engineering, Utilities &/or Public sector.
- Sound strategic thinker with the ability to operate with a hands-on, pragmatic approach when required.
- Experience of proactively engaging customers to improve relationships for the long-term and continue to drive value.
- Strong Computer (ICT) skills - with experience of CRM systems, MS Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Able to work out of hours as and when required and be part of the on-call commercial rota.
- Full driving licence (and ability to travel nationally).
