Their services are utilised by both public sector and large organisations across the EMEA region.Your new roleReporting to a Finance Director, this is a senior role in a small team. Duties to include :
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and processing, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll.
- Manage and develop a team of financial accountants, setting objectives, conducting appraisals, and providing training.
- Review and approve account reconciliations for all balance sheet and intercompany accounts, and significant journal entries.
- Implement and maintain high-quality financial controls, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, company procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Oversee VAT and corporate tax returns, prepare annual statutory accounts, and provide financial records to external auditors.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting, monitor performance against targets, collaborate with Treasury on cash flow, and recommend cost reduction and profitability enhancement measures.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified in accounting CIMA/ACA/ACCA or other recognised accounting qualification.
- Strong commercial skills with an analytical mindset.
- Preferred experience with QuickBooks
