As the Commercial Data Analyst, you will hold a pivotal role in enhancing business performance by analysing complex data sets to deliver strategic insights and support key initiatives. You will be responsible for supporting the implementation and upgrade of systems, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of operational efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data by collecting, cleaning, and validating information from diverse sources.
- Design and maintain sophisticated data models, reporting systems, and dashboards that provide actionable insights to inform strategic business decisions.
- Streamline data management processes to enhance efficiency, focusing on data intake, validation, modelling, and visualisation.
- Contribute to pricing analysis and strategy by applying price increases and creating comprehensive product pricelists for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the successful implementation of ERP systems and data migration projects by efficiently extracting, transforming, and loading data.
- Oversee the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with the Group's obsolescence process and stock write-off procedures to maintain operational efficiency.
- Work closely with the Senior Management to deliver high-quality reports that drive business growth and strategic decision-making.
The candidate:
- Demonstrated track record in commercial Business/Data Analysis roles.
- Exceptional ability to decipher and draw insights from intricate datasets.
- Proficient in data manipulation and visualization tools, including Excel, SQL, VBA, and Power BI.
- Meticulous approach to data handling, ensuring precision and reliability.
- Adept at resolving complex issues efficiently within time constraints.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate findings clearly both orally and in writing.
