We are seeking an Accounts Manager to assist our Client's Senior Management team and Directors in the delivery of statutory accounts preparation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in full accounts roles, including Charities and NFP, who thrives under pressure and has a knack for managing multiple priorities.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Assist the Senior Management team and Directors in the delivery of statutory accounts preparation.
  • Manage full accounts roles including Charities.
  • Oversee the management and delivery of accounts assignments.
  • Supervise workflow and manage the team effectively.
  • Take a lead role on audit assignments from planning to completion.
  • Review audit files ahead of Director review.
  • Build and sustain key relationships with clients.
  • Handle ad-hoc project work as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • ACA / ACCA qualification with practice experience.
  • Experience as a manager or overseeing a small team.
  • Experience in company accounts and tax.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Capable of working under pressure to meet tight and conflicting deadlines.
  • Strong experience in managing accounts assignments including planning, preparation, completion, and client delivery.
  • Commercial awareness with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills
