Contentious Construction Associate – 3PQE+ I’m looking to speak with Construction Associates interested in joining a growing and forward-thinking Contentious Construction team. If you're looking to take the next step in your career and want to be part of Top 100 dynamic, ambitious team, with opportunities to be based across the Southwest, this could be for you! This role offers the chance to work on a variety of construction and engineering disputes, from risk management and strategic advice to handling adjudications, litigation, and other forms of dispute resolution. The team has a strong focus on renewable energy projects, including large-scale battery storage and solar farms, as well as commercial and residential development disputes and major infrastructure projects. This means you’ll have the opportunity to be involved in high-profile cases in an industry that’s constantly evolving. You’ll have the space to manage your own work independently, but you won’t be on your own. There’s plenty of support from experienced senior lawyers when dealing with more complex matters. Professional growth is a big priority, so whether you want to sharpen your client engagement skills, get involved in business development, or mentor junior team members, you’ll be encouraged to develop in the areas that matter most to you. If building strong client relationships and expanding your industry network is something you're passionate about, this is a great opportunity to do just that. The team is looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working with colleagues across different teams, and wants to contribute to the ongoing growth of the practice. If you have recent experience in a busy contentious construction or similar team and are ready for a new challenge, this could be a great fit. An interest in areas such as renewable energy, infrastructure, real estate, finance, or retail would be a bonus, but more than anything, the team is looking for someone who is proactive, ambitious, and excited to be part of a fast-growing practice. In return, you’ll have access to great career progression opportunities, professional development programs, and mentoring support. The firm places a big emphasis on employee wellbeing, offering flexible working options, 28 days of annual leave, private medical insurance, sabbaticals every five years, and even a dedicated Lifestyle Hour to help you prioritise your mental and physical health. To apply for this position, please send an updated CV to . For a confidential chat regarding this position, or an overview of the Southwest legal market, reach out to .
