The role of the Technical Sales Engineer - Heat Pumps, Radiators and Underfloor Heating will involve:

  • Technical Sales Engineer role dealing with the design, supply, commissioning and servicing of air to water heat pumps, radiators and underfloor heating solutions
  • Majority of your time selling into mechanical and plumbing contractors and installers
  • Dealing to a lesser extent with housebuilders/ private developers and plumbing and heating merchants
  • Being the first point of contact for incoming customer enquiries; including providing: technical support & relevant documentation
  • Undertake sales tasks such as: producing and following up on quotes, closing deals and performing business development activities to uncover new opportunities
  • Technical support role working in a "buddy system" with the external sales team, assisting them as required with sourcing & arranging appointments
  • Assist with MCS design calculations on heat pumps & underfloor heating systems

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Sales Engineer - Heat Pumps, Radiators and Underfloor Heating with:

  • Must have technical sales experience within the plumbing & heating industry
  • Must have strong technical knowledge of heating products
  • Heat pump, radiator and underfloor heating product knowledge is highly beneficial but not essential
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Keen attention to detail
  • IT/ CRM proficient
  • Team player
