The Opportunity
We are looking for a Systems Engineer with expertise in electrification and hybridization to join a dynamic team. This role involves designing and developing new hybrid and electric-powered mobile equipment, validating design changes, and resolving technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Be able to guide Electric Magnetic Compatibility to ensure standards are EMC compliant.
- Design and integrate systems for hybrid and electric-powered equipment, including micro-controllers, sensors, motors, and electrical harnesses.
- Develop specifications and explore new energy sources, such as lithium batteries.
- Support engineering project timelines and validation plans.
- Document test issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Investigate and file patent disclosures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering.
- Experience in electrification and hybridization of mobile equipment.
- Knowledge of system architecture, EMC compliance, and component selection.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CAD 3D packages, Matlab/Simulink, FEA, and LabView is a plus.
- Full driving license.
