Job Overview: We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Goods In Operative / Warehouse Operative to join our client based in Eye, Suffolk. This is an exciting role for a current Goods In Operative who would like to join a company that will give progression opportunities. You role is essential in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse. You will be responsible for checking incoming deliveries, maintaining stock accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities: 
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries to ensure they match purchase orders.
  • Check for damaged or missing items and report any discrepancies.
  • Label and store stock in the correct warehouse locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock management systems.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch when required.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
  • Assist with stock checks and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
 Key Requirements: 
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or goods-in environment preferred.
  • Forklift license (not essential – training may be provided for progression opportunities).
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills for stock management and record-keeping.
  • Proactive and efficient attitude.
