On offer is an exciting opportunity to join our client's engineering department on a full-time permanent basis. You'll be responsible for fitting and assembling pipework to systems onboard ships, ensuring systems function with accuracy and efficiency.

Our clients is based at one of the largest ship-repair facilities in the UK, and provide a complete range of marine repair services thanks to their on-site engineering, electrical, paint and fabrication workshops.

Learn how to:
• Install, repair and maintain piping systems onboard ships.
• Fabricate and assemble pipe components using various techniques including welding.
• Read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
• Carry out pressure testing and ensure the smooth operation of systems and equipment.

The Person:
• Experience in a pipefitting, plumbing or mechanical maintenance environment.
• Someone who thrives in a hands-on role and is keen to further develop their skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Motivated to develop and progress within a dynamic company.
• Committed to ensuring health and safety in your work.
• Have excellent teamwork and communication skills.

The salary advertised is a guideline for this position.

£24,999 - £25,799 + Progression + Training + Overtime + Shifts + Pension

The offered remuneration will be dependent on the extent of your experience, qualifications, and skill set.
