You will play a key role in ensuring patients receive timely and efficient support throughout their care pathway.

What you will be doing as a NHS call handler:

  • You will be giving people advise and help manage their symptoms telephonically.
  • You will be using a software to record patient's basic clinical information.
  • You will direct patients to the most appropriate health care professional once the condition is assessed.
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments, including cancellations, reminders, and referral processing.
  • No Previous experience needed as full training will be provided.
  • Experience within a Customer services isessential.
  • Basic computer skills and great telephone manners is essential.
  • Preferred experience in Primary Care settings (e.g., GP practice, pharmacy, dental services, NHS walk-in centres).
