Day-to-day of the role:
- Answering the phone and dealing with enquiries appropriately, relaying messages to the relevant solicitor or department.
- Meeting and greeting clients and visitors, ensuring all visitors receive a great first impression as you will be their initial point of contact.
- Taking card payments and maintaining the presentation of the main reception area.
- Performing other ad hoc administration duties as required.
- Preferably experienced in a receptionist role, ideally with a background in law.
- Experience in office administration would be an advantage.
- Pleasant telephone manner with excellent communication skills.
- Hardworking with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Commitment to providing excellent client care.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task.
