This is an opportunity to take ownership of a varied and hands-on finance role within a thriving manufacturing business. With the flexibility to work two days in the office and three from home, you’ll report to the Group Finance Director and play a key role in the finance function, working closely with both finance and non-finance teams.This role is perfect for a Management Accountant who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working closely with different areas of the business.Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
  • Preparing monthly financial statements and reports, including bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, fixed-asset management and intercompany transactions
  • Supporting the Finance Director with budgeting and forecasting
  • Analysing financial data and trends to provide meaningful business insights
  • Posting and reconciling credit card expenses
  • Processing weekly payroll
  • Assisting with credit control, accounts payable and posting expenses
What you will need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Management Accountant / Commercial Accountant / Finance Business Partner
  • To be a confident communicator who can work with both finance and non-finance colleagues
  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and SUMIFs
