Marketing Manager

Location: Farnborough

Salary: 50,000-65,000 + Bonus

Hours of Work: 09:00 until 17:30 on Monday to Thursday and 09:00 until 17:00 on Friday with a one hour unpaid break for lunch

My client who are a legal 500 law firm are seeking a Marketing Manager to join their team. You will lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, drive client acquisition, and support the firms business goals. This role involves close collaboration with the HoDs and Strategy Board to create impactful campaigns, develop engaging content, manage digital channels, and analyse marketing performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketingand bring creativity, strategic thinking, and a data-driven approach to the role.

Daily Duties

Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the firms growth objectives and practice areas.

Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns to increase brand awareness, reach new clients, and support client retention.

Coordinate with HoDs to identify target audiences and tailor marketing efforts to various legal services.

Content Development & Management:

Manage and oversee content creation for website, social media, blog posts, newsletters, and client communications. Collaborate with fee earners to produce articles, blogs, vlogs, case studies, and client alerts.

Maintain the firms editorial calendar, ensuring timely and relevant content across all channels.

Optimize and manage the firms digital presence, including website, SEO, SEM, and social media.

Monitor and analyse digital metrics, including website traffic, social media engagement, email open rates, and conversions. Use data to make informed decisions and enhance strategies.

Manage the firm's online reputation and ensure consistent, professional brand representation on all platforms.

Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, communications, and client touchpoints.

Work with external vendors (designers, agencies, printers) as needed to create high-quality marketing materials that align with the firms image and values.

Develop and implement strategies to strengthen client relationships, including targeted client communications and outreach programs.

Work closely with the business development team to create and promote client-focused events, seminars, and webinars.

Plan, coordinate, and manage client events, webinars, and conferences to enhance the firms visibility and foster networking opportunities.

Support logistics, materials, and promotion efforts for all events, ensuring professional representation and client engagement.

Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and target audience behaviour to identify opportunities for the firm.

Provide insights to the Strategy board on market positioning and recommend new marketing initiatives.

Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing regular updates to leadership.

Use data to refine strategies, improve campaign ROI, and meet key performance metrics.

Manage Marketing team: Manage team of Marketing Assistants and Executives both in the UK and South Africa.

Take an active part in CSR initiatives and lead where appropriate.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

3-5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.

Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and analytics tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail.

Proficiency in marketing software and tools, such as CRM systems, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms.

Demonstrated experience in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and measuring their success.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.

High levels of creativity and strategic thinking.
