Financial Reporting Manager

Camberley / Hybrid working

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Manager to lead a team of accounting professionals within our dynamic finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

Private Equity Reporting / Management Accounts preparation / Statutory & Technical Accounts Leadership / Tax & Compliance / Team Management

  • Leading a small team (3), responsible for month-end accounting close process, ensuring all entries are posted timely and in line with accounting policies.
  • Responsible for preparing monthly consolidated management accounts pack for the Board, providing comprehensive commentary on variances between actual costs and budget.
  • Review key risk balance sheet accounts, including accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, bank loan interests.
  • Business partnering with other departments, conducting monthly meetings to discuss about actual spending and providing financial insights to support business decision making.
  • Preparation of annual financial statements for the Group, including all statutory disclosures in accordance with accounting policies (IFRS & FRS102)
  • Assisting in the preparation of the financial budget for the company.
  • Develop and design financial reports & saved searches to improve efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ACA Qualified: Ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in audit, preferably within a Big 4 firm, though not essential.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical accounting knowledge, with experience in preparing statutory accounts and management reports.
  • Systems Expertise: Familiarity with Salesforce, Netsuite, or other accounting packages preferred but not essential.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop a team, providing technical guidance and support.
  • SAAS Experience (Preferred): Experience within the SaaS industry is preferred, though not essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in financial reporting and strong Excel skills are mandatory.
  • Proactive and Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive initiatives forward.
  • AI Experience: Experience with Co-Pilot, Chat-GPT, or other AI platforms preferred but not essential.
