We are recruiting for one of our clients for the role of Logistics and Order Processing Manager based in Camberley. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation, where you will play a key role in managing order processing, streamlining logistics, and ensuring efficient delivery of goods from suppliers to customers.

Role Summary

As the Logistics and Order Processing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire order management process, maintaining high-quality standards, and minimising costs. Working closely with suppliers, customers, forwarders, and internal teams, you will ensure timely deliveries, resolve operational challenges, and support the business in achieving its goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Order Processing and Shipment Management

  • Implement and maintain efficient procedures for high-quality order processing.
  • Ensure quick turnaround times for shipments and orders.
  • Negotiate shipping terms, prices, and transit times with forwarders.
  • Oversee compensation funds and rebates, ensuring timely payments from suppliers.
  • Monitor and manage Supplier Sellouts and maintain accurate reporting systems.

Planning and Collaboration

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and forwarders.
  • Plan and provide shipment instructions for complex orders or specific regions.
  • Ensure timely escalations for any issues with suppliers, customers, or forwarders.
  • Collaborate with other departments (legal, sales, pre-sales) to address operational challenges.

Leadership and Process Improvement

  • Review customer orders/invoices, ensuring accuracy in margins, Incoterms, and payment terms.
  • Approve credit notes for customers and manage financial disputes.
  • Provide leadership and support for internal teams, including covering for managers when necessary.
  • Implement and improve tools and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Experience and Skills

  • Proven experience in logistics and order processing.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and Excel (Office programs).
  • Experience with customs regulations and international shipping processes.
  • Excellent analytical and data management skills.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
