Reed HR have partnered with a fantastic organisation in Kent who are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to support the Human Resources Manager (HRM) in a variety of tasks including ER case handling, recruitment, training, compliance, and HR project work. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in HR practices and a keen eye for continuous improvement.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support the completion of HR project work assignments set by the HRM, ensuring high standards and accuracy within prompt timescales.
  • Identify and highlight areas for improvement to support the HRM’s vision of continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate, book, and track training courses as requested by the HRM.
  • Maintain the HR internal platform and training systems.
  • Lead on recruitment processes, ensuring efficient and effective hiring.
  • Compile letters, documents, and policies, and handle administrative duties.
  • Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Chair Colleague Forum meetings in the absence of the HRM and provide key information and data to the HRM as requested.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven HR experience, including leading project work and ER case handling.
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in ER case handling and minute taking within formal meetings.
  • Strong understanding of UK Employment Law/Legislation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commercial and risk awareness.
  • Assertive with a 'can do' attitude and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • GCSE grade 5 / C or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft packages.
  • Complete understanding of GDPR and confidentiality.
  • Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified or significant experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and in conjunction with the HRM, and act as the company point of contact in the absence of the HRM.
