Do you have experience working with time AOG, time critical and express freight shipments? Do you have a strong background in handling imports within this field?

My client is seeking an experienced Express / Time Critical Freight Forwarder for their Feltham-based company, specialising in multi-modal freight forwarding. The successful candidate will coordinator multi-modal import (and some export) AOG & express/time critical shipments and ensure customs compliance, whilst providing first class customer service at all times. This is an office-based, Monday-Friday position, working from 11am-7pm with a 1 hour lunch break. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate multi-modal AOG, Express and Time Critical shipments.
  • Manage invoicing and ensure profitability.
  • Ensure Customs Compliance.
  • Resolve HMRC queries, minimizing duty/tax liability.
  • Manage the operational email inbox and procedural workflows for consignments.
  • Address and resolve operational issues and customer service concerns.
  • Ensure timely and accurate sales invoicing and job costing.
  • Process import/export documents and submit Customs Entry Declarations.
  • Build and maintain internal and external relationships.

Key Requirements:

  • Multi-modal, import and export experience (air and road).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of AOG/NFO & Express logistics.
  • Proficient in HMRC Customs Procedures, including Entry submission for Exports/Imports.
  • Confident with computer applications, including Excel, CRM databases, and BoxTop (or similar).
  • Customer-focused with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.

  • Salary of £35,000 - £40,000 + bonus!
