Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Air Export Clerk for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Staines-upon-Thames, Middlesex area.
This is a fantastic chance for an experienced air export professional to join a fantastic organisation.You’ll have the chance to benefit from tailored career development, with the opportunity to expand your expertise in freight forwarding while supporting a company that is committed to continuous improvement and innovation across the logistics industry.The Role:-As an Air Freight Export Clerk, you will support our airfreight export services by ensuring all shipments undertake and complete their journeys successfully.Overseeing the export process, you will complete Export Customs declarations and prepare Air Export documentation to regulatory standards along with all associated tasks in a start-to-finish role.Ensuring we deliver our customers the best possible value, you will liaise with customers, negotiate carrier rates for specific shipments and create customer pricing on our software.To be considered, you will need:-- Air export experience- The ability to prioritise and organise workloads- Excellent IT skills, including MS Word and Excel- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
