Mill Operatives - Temporary to Permanent opportunity!

Monday to Friday day shifts

South Kent – Rural Location

£12.28 per hour 

My client, a successful and established organisation, are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Mill Operatives to join their thriving team!

The ideal candidate will be hardworking, with a high level of attention to detail, previous experience working within a manual, Production/Manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential, and the ability to prioritise a busy workload!

Duties include:

  • Preparing wooden panels in accordance with daily order sheets, ready for Assembly/Production.
  • Operating safely industrial equipment.
  • Escalating any faults or imperfections.
  • Always adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Any other duties required.

The right candidate will have / be:

  • Experience working within the manufacturing industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Own transport is essential due to the location of the company
  • A strong team player.
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Helpful, reliable, and confident.
  • Quick and methodical.
  • Health and safety awareness.
  • Flexible and proactive.
