Overview
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team who are involved in the design of confocal and super resolution imaging solutions to the global life science community. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic group of scientists and engineers and will become a key member of the team. Your individual responsibilities will include the build, alignment and testing of novel imaging systems, as well as on-site installation and maintenance and remote service support to a global customer base.

Education & experience-
* Education- BEng, Meng/ MSc or PhD level in Physics, Electronics, Mechanical, or suitable Engineering discipline
* Hands-on experience in aligning optical elements preferred
* Experience in light microscopy preferred
* Understanding of imaging preferred
* Minimum of 2 years industry experience (all industries accepted)

Main Duties of the Role:
* Build, align, test and integrate existing and new technologies, both in-house and at customer sites
* Optical assembly and alignment
* Provide installation, maintenance and repair services at customer sites
* Experimentation in optics and light microscopy
* Work as part of an engineering team on R&D projects for system development
* Present ideas for system improvements
* Provide both remote and on-site support for new and existing customers.
