We are partnering with an award-winning North East firm, as they look for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.The role is based full-time at their Gateshead office, supporting senior leadership with day-to-day financial activities. Salary will be dependent on experience, up to £36,000 per annum.At least two years experience in a similar role is essential to be considered for this position.Key Duties:- Sales ledger and debt management- Invoice processing- Payroll administration- Bookkeeping- Assist with cost management and financial forecasting- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders daily- Other ad hoc duties as required.Personal Requirements:- Have at least 2 years experience in a similar role- Have obtained or be studying towards AAT Qualification- Basic knowledge of Bookkeeping and Cost Management- Use of Xero is preferred (not essential)- Strong communication, organisation and a drive to continuously improve- Ability to work onsite 5 days a weekIf you would like a confidential chat about this opportunity and your job search, please get in touch!
