Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker (Child) to join our dynamic school in Gateshead. This exciting role involves providing essential support and care to children, ensuring their well-being and academic success.

Responsibilities of Residential Support Worker (Child):

  • Provide high-quality support and care to children in a residential setting.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans.
  • Foster a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and well-being of students.

Requirements of Residential Support Worker (Child):

  • Previous experience as a Residential Support Worker (Child) or in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
