Randstad is excited to partner with Gateshead's Adult Social Care team to recruit a dedicated and skilled Team Manager.Join us in a vital role where your expertise will lead to positive outcomes and enhanced care quality.

Job Description:

Are you an experienced social worker with strong leadership skills and a passion for adult social care? In this role, you will oversee team operations, manage complex cases, and ensure the delivery of effective and timely care services.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing the Adult Social Care team, providing supervision, guidance, and support to team members.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Managing complex cases, providing expert advice and decision-making support.
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and community organizations to coordinate and improve care.
• Monitoring team performance, implementing improvements, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with legal and professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with team members, service users, and external partners.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and safeguarding.
