We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our clients team based in Gillingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring that payments are received on time and resolving any payment queries. We are looking for someone who has at least 2/3 years' experience in credit control within a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Chase clients and customers for outstanding debt by phone, email and letter.
Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring payments are received on time.
Resolve any payment queries in a timely and efficient manner.
Provide regular updates and reports to management.
Monitor accounts and flag any potential issues.
Liaise with other departments to resolve any issues.
Continuously improve processes and procedures relating to credit control.

Required skills and experience:

At least 2/3 years' experience in credit control.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivots and vlookups.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
