Sonic Summary

The role involves processing drawings and producing detailed manufacturing drawings for sheet metal parts.
Candidates are expected to have a good working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks, along with CNC punch programming experience.
The position requires collaboration with R&D on continuous improvement projects and programming/nesting parts for efficiency.
Ideally, applicants should have experience in operating or programming CNC machines and previous manufacturing experience in sheet metal work.
The job offers a salary of $60,000 per year and requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Duties of this role are :_

To process drawings through Layout and to produce detailed manufacturing drawings
You will be required to draw the component sheet metal parts
To program and nest the parts for punching to utilise the least amount of materials
To work with R & D on continuous improvement projects

Candidates must have a good working knowledge of Autocad and Solidworks, you will also have a good knowledge of CNC punch programming and the Brake press process.

Ideally candidates will have a knowledge of operating / programming CNC machines. You will have experience of working with Solidworks and 3D modelling and have a previous manufacturing experience within the sheet metal work environment.
